The CXC Elite Team and U.S. Ski Team's nordic athletes have had great World Cup success producing top ten finishes and four podiums on three consecutive weekends. Kikkian Randall made history as the first woman to win a World Cup sprint. Bill Demong picked up his third career nordic combined win. Cross country skiers Andy Newell and Kris Freeman reached the top-5 again, Garrott Kuzzy finished 9th in his first World Cup and Johnny Spillane also recorded a podium finish.

These exciting results are thanks to the efforts of the entire U.S. skiing community including race organizers, community coaches, divisional leaders and dedicated supporters. This support has enabled athletes at all levels of our development pipeline to perform their best. Because of this, our athletes are better prepared to compete with their peers internationally.
