2005
- 2006 State Development Groups
This
year will be the sixth year of State Development Groups (SDGs). The SDGs
are one step below the Central regional Elite Group on the CXC development
ladder. The SDGs provide an opportunity for skiers to get together with
other JO skiers from around their state several times during the preparation
period for camps. Athletes may also attend the camps of the SDGs other
than their own. These camps will be partially subsidized by CXC. Athletes
from other Central states will be integrated into the nearest group. Athletes
qualifying for the SDG should plan on attending the CXC/Birkie Big Summer
Camp. The CXC/Birkie Big Summer Camp is the primary SDG training opportunity.
