Wolverine Ski Challenge Trail Update http://www.cxcskiing.org/kb/article/AA-00694 December 5, 2012

Although the entire course was much too soft to walk without adding to
the weather damage, I sampled it in several places a found a persistent
ribbon of snow where it had been well packed on the Powderhorn loop.
When this freezes, it may well be a reasonable base for more snow on
this 5K loop. However, it will definitely require several inches of snow
to cover what will become an icy base.

The current forecast is for about a 20-30% chance of snow each day
starting tomorrow. We ]]>

Additionally, if you are forced to transition back to rollerskis a few
times, you’ll have that snow feeling. As far as training goes, the plan

Inaugural CXC Summer Championships will showcase who is the strongest in the Nordic off-season. Over the week of July 3rd- 9th, 2010
37 athletes converged on Crest Hill Resort in Hayward, WI for the Regional
Elite Group Camp.  The first order
of business was for the athletes to get their VO2 Max testing done.  By using a standard running protocol
these athletes were put on a treadmill and physiological data was
recorded.  This data was put into a
PDF file, and was then explained to each athlete for the coming months of
training.
