Saturday-Sunday, February 20-21 | Madison, WI | 2010 Madison Winter Festival | Program participation is free

This year Madison Winter Festival will again be offering an Adaptive Sit Ski Program for people with physical disabilities. Participants will be presented with an opportunity to attend a seminar at the Wisconsin Veterans Museum followed by a session of skiing on the Capitol Square. Sandy Metzger (USSA Disabled Program Director) and Jon Kreamelmeyer (Disabled Cross-Country Head Coach) will be the program guests and run the seminar and technique sessions during the weekend. Skiing will also be offered on Sunday. Equipment will be provided for use during the event. Volunteers will instruct and assist with lifts and transfers for skiers on each of the days.

If somebody in your family or friends has a physical disability we encourage you to let them know about the program and come to ski together.

Please RSVP with name and contact information for you and your guest(s) to Irina Komarova at irina@winter-fest.com.
