The fine folks at Eriksen Bikes - http://kenteriksen.com/ (they go by Kent and Katie when they're around friends) can cross "Adopt an Athlete" off their life list of things to do. Even though the normal adoption process is usually a little bit more involved, they called today and let us know who they wanted to adopt. Who's the lucky athlete?
Karl Nygren. Karl grew up in MN, went to school in Boulder at CU, and then came back to the Midwest to join CXC Team Vertical Limit. He's single-handedly taken on the task of bridging the gap between the mountains of the West and the Lakes of the Midwest. His efforts have not gone unnoticed, and Eriksen bikes are pretty happy to know Karl has been on a bike before.(http://www.bikes-n-boards.com/rasta_10/Overall/Expert.HTM) His name is in there, we promise.
Here's the drill: Find 11 of your friends, squeeze them for $500 apiece, pick the athlete you would like to adopt, and let us know you're ready to be a really eclectic family. We'll put you in touch with the athlete, and they will schedule two weekends where they will come and run clinics in your area. All of the donating members of this adoption will also receive Premier Membership for their participation (a $250 value).
