Cross-Country Ski and Biathlon Sit-Ski Introduction, Demonstration and Clinic at Blackhawk Ski Club

Join CXC for a Cross-Country Ski and Biathlon Sit-Ski Introduction and Demonstration at Blackhawk Ski Club on May 5th, at 1:00 p.m.

This hour long Introductory novice clinic and demonstration will show adaptive participants, VA Staff, and interested volunteers CXC’s summer and winter adaptive Nordic equipment, which includes experiencing mountain boarding, a device that  simulates adaptive cross-country skiing on dry land. Participants will also be introduced to the sport of biathlon at the Blackhawk Ski Club biathlon range, with the possibility of using laser rifles and or air rifles. Take this opportunity to learn what is available for the adaptive community to enjoy year round disability specific sporting opportunities.
