The Cross Country Ski and Biathlon Sit Ski Introduction, Demonstration and Clinic on May 5th at Blackhawk Ski Club went off like clockwork. Participants and volunteers were completely fired up to get involved in this unique clinic geared specifically towards adaptive athletes. After learning about the shooting area, and the types of rifles used in Biathlon, everyone took a few shots to become familiar with gun weight and obstacles adaptive biathletes overcome when participating in the sport. The demo then moved indoors where everyone tried out the Ercolina (a double poling machine), after which point, the laser-free, bulletless and noiseless Eko-Aims Marksmanship Challenge took center stage as participants, volunteers and the CXC crew put their skills to the test and faced off to see whose five shots were the closest to the target. The winner, of course, Madison's own Jane Schmieding, adaptive advocate, and a real sharpshooter. Many Thanks to all those involved.

Top Three Eko-Aims Marksmanship Challenge Results:

1. Jane Schmieding 30.5 (Madison, WI)
2. Art Marchessault 29.5 (Milwaukee, WI)
3. Donita DuBord 26.0 (Tomah, WI)
