CXC Adaptive Nordic Ski Program is designed for youth, juniors and adults at recreational, competitive and Paralympic levels for both Nordic Skiing and Biathlon.


Recreational Level

Recreational Sit SkiingOver the last three years, CXC has provided select ski facilities and clubs with loaner equipment and trained volunteer coaches to implement Adaptive Nordic Ski Programs in their communities.

Upon request, CXC will help with identifying adaptive Nordic ski centers and programs that are nearest to you, what equipment they have (sit skis and/or standard skis) and the nearest instructor/coach that are in the program, so that we can provide you with the best available Nordic skiing experience.

Competitive Level

Competitive Stand Up SkiingCompetitive Nordic skiing allows athletes to participate in short, middle and long distance event (sprints to 24k). There are local, regional and national level competitions available for individuals along with training camps and demo events.

For competitive skiers and biathletes, CXC is a US Paralympic Sports Club member and has a CXC Adaptive Team. This allows athletes to have the opportunity to move up the athlete pipeline if they have the desire to progress from recreational all the way to the Paralympic podium.

Athletes interested in CXC Adaptive Team have to meet Paralympic classification criteria and complete talent ID test.

Veterans Program

Veterans ProgramOur veterans program collaborates and partners with VA hospitals and clinics, community organizations and other veteran specific sports and recreational programs. We assist veterans throughout the nation but are primarily focused on Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois, Iowa and Michigan.
