Important Note:
It generally takes 3-5 business days to process your membership. CXC Membership numbers have to be generated manually in order to have both region and age category in them (important for CXC Midwest / Great Lakes points system).
Once processed, your CXC number will be added to the 2011-2012 membership roster. You can expect to receive your membership card in the mail shortly after that.
When signing up for races, please indicate "PENDING" in the field where it asks for CXC Membership number. CXC then provides complete roster to the timing company for the weekend of the JNQ event.
Have a great season!

A Junior does not need a USSA license (membership) to compete in Junior Olympic Qualifiers and score either Midwest or Great Lakes District JOQ points. All that is needed is a CXC membership. Those athletes that do qualify for Junior Olympics do need a USSA membership license to compete in JOs. The only kicker is that USSA National Ranking List points are used to seed (arrange start order) J1 and OJ athletes for JOs. It requires a minimum of 3 NRL races with a USSA license to develop those points, which would be most of the JOQs. Generally, athletes that are sure of qualifying for JOs, or those that plan on competing in the National Championships in January (USSA license required) buy their USSA license well in advance of the season. Others buy a USSA license as the season progresses and their JOQ rankings are developing, recognizing that there can be considerable lag time between applying for a license and the ability to score race points.
The preliminary start lists for both days will be posted on this site on Thursdays. No bib number or start times will be posted. Only order of start with pertinent data. Each athlete is responsible for their own correct data. Missing CXC#s and USSA#s can result in a non-scored event! A corrected start list with bib #s and start times will be posted Friday, following additions, corrections, and comments to the race director. This list will most probably be the official start list, unless issues are identified at the Fri afternoon coaches meeting. This same process will be followed for the remainder of the season.
