Cross Country Competitor (U16+) Membership
By having a joint membership with U.S. Ski & Snowboard, you gain entry privileges, points, and Divisional and National rankings at specific regional and national competitions like the CXC Junior Cup, Junior Nationals, Senior Nationals, and SuperTour. For dedicated skiers, obtaining this type of membership early in the season offers significant advantages, as it enables the accumulation of U.S. Ski & Snowboard points. These points are essential for securing favorable race seeding at sanctioned regional and national events. By consistently improving performance, skiers can earn lower points, which grant better starting positions in both Junior National Team qualifying races and the Junior National Nordic Ski Championships. This can be crucial, particularly in mass starts.
Moreover, high school upperclassmen aspiring to ski in college should note that college recruitment can also be influenced by having low U.S. Ski & Snowboard points.
We ask you to double, and triple check your U.S. Ski & Snowboard membership is current!
1. AM I CURRENT? Double-check here
2. Check emails from U.S. Ski Snowboard membership
3. Pending members will display what they are missing
4. Reach out sooner than later to Membership at membership@usskiandsnowboard.org or call 435-647-2666 if you have any questions.

As a CXC Club, you receive one complimentary account with CXC Academy, which provides training plans and coaching resources for everyday use.
CXC Academy training plans are delivered exclusively through TrainingPeaks, accessible on both smartphones and the web. To receive a CXC Academy training plan, the head /assistant coach must have either a free Basic Athlete account or a paid Coach account with TrainingPeaks - both options are compatible. Once a training plan is chosen, it will be shared with the coach, allowing them to guide their athletes using the provided training details.
If you have a free Basic Athlete account with TrainingPeaks, you won't be able to attach your athletes to it. Only a paid TrainingPeaks Coach account allows this functionality. However, having a Coach account isn't always necessary. You may use another method to distribute training plans to your team. In this case, the CXC Academy plan received by the coach can serve as a blueprint for designing your team's training schedule.
To avail of this service, send an email to membership@cxcskiing.org requesting access.
